The headlamp is designed with a light and a separate battery pack in order to provide a better weight distribution on your head, so the headlamp doesn’t bounce around. There is a red safety light at the rear of the battery pack, so that you can be seen from behind. The lamp itself has 2 light modes; spot light and wide beam.
